Yesterday we were joined by 100 delegates at our national conference, held in partnership with Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.  Speakers included Professor Heather Elphick, our Chair of Trustees as well as Vicki Dawson, our Founder and CEO.

Delegates were able to learn about the model utilised in Sheffield to support vulnerable children to improve their sleep.  Findings clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of the intervention and 100% of families who took part would recommend the programme to others.  Cost saving was also highlighted in the presentations.  Behavioural support is highly cost effective and can prevent children from needlessly being referred into specialist medical services.

We were delighted to be joined by a range of delegates from across the country including commissioners and service leads.  It is vitally important that children’s sleep issues are addressed in order to support the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of the whole family.
